Upper Gwynedd Township Police are advising residents of a scheduled training exercise involving the Pennsylvania State Police Aviation Unit on Tuesday morning.

The training is set to begin around 10 a.m. at the Upper Gwynedd Police Station, with a helicopter expected to land at Parkside Place Park in the area between the pavilion and basketball courts.

Police said the landing zone will be clearly marked with patrol vehicles and cones, and residents are asked to avoid the immediate area for safety during the exercise.

Officials emphasized that the helicopter activity is part of a planned training drill and that there is no cause for concern.
