Fiesta Churros, El Limon, Meat Wagon BBQ, Beer Garden, DJ Tone Arm help kick off 2026 season in borough
April showers bring May flowers — and in Lansdale, they’re blooming into the season’s first First Friday.
Discover Lansdale is inviting the community to spring forward with them this Friday, May 1:
"Truth be told, 2026 so far has been ... let's say, somewhat challenging. But things are looking up, starting right now," organizers said.
Its 2026 schedule of themed First Fridays (with one Second Saturday tossed in) starts Friday with the "April Showers Bring May Flowers." (And May flowers bring Pilgrims! ... I'll see myself out.)
All your favorite First Ftiday features are back — and so are your friends and neighbors for some flower-themed fun, organizers said.
Lansdale Borough's own Environmental Advisory Committee will be featured and look for something special along Madison Street as well.
(And be sure to join the EAC the next morning, at 10:30 at Whites Road Park for a guided Nature Walk along the park's beautiful trails.)
The Photo Scavenger Hunt will, as usual, be posted shortly before the event on the Discover Lansdale Facebook page. Be sure to watch for Discover Lansdale's mascot, Philip the Lansdale Fox, who'll be hiding in one of the event's Main Street partner shops.
At the Beer Garden: Well Crafted Beer, Boardroom Spirits, Local Tap, Simple Days, Boyd's Cardinal Hollow Winery, and von C Brewing Company.
Food vendors include: Fiesta Churros, Meat Wagon BBQ, The Little Sicilian, Surf and Turf Truck, The Clean Plate Club, The Pasta Truck, and First Friday season sponsor El Limon.
Entertainment on the main stage by Evans Entertainment; at Railroad Plaza, by DJ Tone Arm. Balloons by Myers Designs, face painting by Dyanna, The Kids Zone includes inflatables and games. Dozens of vendors will include crafts, snacks, non-profits, local businesses, sponsors, and more!
Remember that every First Friday runs from 6 to 9 p.m. sharp.
Parking in the area is affected, and organizers suggest the SEPTA garage or other borough lots or street parking. Click here for a parking map.
