Lansdale Environmental Advisory Commission hosting free guided walk through local habitats next month
Lansdale residents are invited to step outside and explore the natural beauty tucked inside one of the borough’s most popular parks next month.
The Lansdale Environmental Advisory Commission will host a guided nature walk on Saturday, May 2, from 10:30 a.m. to noon at White’s Road Park.
The free event will take participants along the park’s 0.6-mile loop, highlighting native plants, wildlife habitats, and lesser-known environmental features throughout the area.

Organizers said the walk is designed to be relaxed and accessible, offering both a chance to enjoy the outdoors and learn about the environment close to home. Participants will also be introduced to tools and resources that can help them continue exploring local ecology on their own.
The program is open to all ages and experience levels, though space is limited to 20 participants. The walk will take place rain or shine, with attendees asked to meet at the park kiosk prior to the start time.
