WATCH: Firefighters on scene of attached garage fire in Hatfield Township Thursday evening

The fire was reported in the driveway of the Rose Lane home around 4:38 p.m.

Firefighters battled an attached garage fire on the 900 block of Rose Lane in Hatfield Township Thursday evening, which reportedly began in the driveway and spread to the house.

According to Montgomery County emergency dispatch reports, a caller reported a fire in the driveway of the home around 4:38 p.m., which spread to the house. 



There was no one at home during the fire, per dispatch reports.

By 4:45 p.m., firefighters had the fire under control and smoke was being vented out the roof. A heavy smoke condition lingered over the neighborhoods between Koffel and Werner roads. 

Responding units included Hatfield Police, Hatfield Fire Co., Colmar Fire Co., Hilltown Township Fire, Towamencin Vol. Fire Co., Perseverance Fire Co. of Souderton and Fairmount Fire Co.
