A little rain could not keep the community away from Lansdale Day Art & Craft Festival on Saturday, which ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on West Main Street. The event was closed to vehicle traffic from Broad to Cannon Avenue to fully embrace this annual, vibrant street festival.

This year’s 48th annual event featured more than 100 fully juried artists and craftsmen offering a diverse range of handcrafted wares — everything from fine woodwork and jewelry to pottery and home décor. Local businesses alongside favorite food, service, and community vendors joined the mix in a special marketplace section: From crab cakes, BBQ chicken and sausage sandwiches to mac & cheese and funnel cakes, the food lineup was mouthwatering.

The Rotary Club of North Penn and its volunteers worked alongside Lansdale Borough officials and police to make the event run smoothly and safely.

More than 260 booths with fully-covered canopies were spread along the street, with carefully curated spacing to balance variety and competition.

Lansdale Day truly brought the town together — families strolling Main Street, neighbors catching up, children excited by activities, and visitors exploring local artisan booths

It was a day of food, art, entertainment, conversation, and community pride in the heart of Lansdale Borough.

Next community events include the Under the Lights Car Show on June 21 and the kickoff of the free White’s Road Park Summer Concerts Series on June 17 with Montgomery County Concert Band.
