The 73rd annual Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade graced Main Street on Saturday, ushering Santa Claus into town and kicking off the Christmas holiday season in the Borough.

More than 110 entries walked, marched, trumpeted, preached, danced, strutted, and waved from Mitchell Avenue to Memorial Park.

Synergy Dance Center, located on Stump Road in Montgomery Township, was the People’s Choice winner. Coordinated by Events Director Emily Lukens, of Lansdale, and Competition Director Elizabeth Cassano, the ballet to hip-hop (and everything in between) dance center was founded in 2013 by Michael and Susan Jaskelewicz, of Sellersville, Bucks County. Susan is a former Eagles cheerleader.
