A Lansdale Borough woman has been charged with felony DUI for having a BAC of .296%  -- more than three-and-a-half times the legal limit – when she hit a parked car on East Main Street in October.

Julia Elizabeth Grahn, 29, of the 200 block of Susquehanna Avenue, was also charged via summons Wednesday with three misdemeanor DUI offenses, according to court records.

On Oct. 26, at 2:51 a.m., Lansdale Police were called to 168 E. Main St. for a single-vehicle accident into a parked car, according to the affidavit. Grahn told police she was driving home, then she allegedly started saying “Sorry.” Police asked her how many drinks she had, and she told them she had a couple beers, police said.

Grahn allegedly said she went to the bar after work at 11 p.m. and had a few beers. Police said she slurred her words and alcohol was emanating from her breath. Grahn failed field sobriety tests and was taken into custody on suspicion of DUI, police said. She was taken to police headquarters for a blood draw to determine BAC by VMSC paramedics, police said.

Grahn has a preliminary hearing scheduled for Jan. 29 at 10:30 a.m. before Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
