A planned roadwork project on West Eighth Street in Lansdale Borough has been delayed and rescheduled due to a material supply issue.
Borough officials said paving work originally scheduled to begin Monday did not move forward as planned and will now start Wednesday.
The project includes final milling and paving restoration along West Eighth Street between Moyers Road and Squirrel Lane.
Work is expected to continue through Thursday or Friday, weather permitting, with activity taking place between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. Motorists should anticipate possible delays and are encouraged to plan alternate routes or allow extra travel time.
The project is part of PECO’s ongoing infrastructure improvements, with officials asking drivers to proceed cautiously through the work zone as paving season ramps up across the area.
