Police say trail camera taken, tree stand damaged in West Rockhill dispute

  • Public Safety

A West Rockhill Township man is facing charges following what police described as a property dispute involving a neighbor’s outdoor equipment.

According to Pennridge Regional Police, the 67-year-old man was charged with criminal mischief and theft earlier this month after allegedly removing a trail camera from a tree on a neighboring property and causing nearly $500 in damage to a tree stand and ladder.

The incident appears to stem from a disagreement between neighbors, though police did not release additional details about the circumstances leading up to the alleged actions.

Authorities said the defendant will face the charges in court at a later date.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
