Amanda North earns FBI-LEEDA Trilogy certification, marking major professional milestone
Lansdale Police are recognizing Sgt. Amanda North for completing a nationally regarded leadership training program designed to prepare officers for supervisory and executive roles in modern policing.
North recently graduated from the FBI Law Enforcement Executive Development Association Trilogy, a three-part program focused on building leadership skills at every level of law enforcement. The training emphasizes supervisor development, command-level decision-making and executive leadership principles, with coursework covering topics such as ethics, accountability, organizational strategy, officer wellness and community trust.
Department officials said the achievement reflects North’s continued commitment to professional growth and strengthening leadership within the agency. The program is widely used across the country to prepare officers for increasingly complex demands in policing, particularly in areas involving transparency, communication and community engagement.
North, who was promoted to sergeant in 2019 after joining the department full-time in 2017, has served in the patrol division and now supervises within that unit.
She was also recognized earlier this year as part of a team that responded to a September incident at the Lansdale train station, where officers recovered firearms from two juveniles following what was initially reported as a fight but later determined to be a robbery.
Police said North’s completion of the FBI-LEEDA Trilogy adds to the department’s leadership foundation and enhances its ability to serve the community with professionalism and forward-thinking practices.
