A Montgomery Township woman has been charged with felony counts of retail theft and receiving stolen property for allegedly stealing $50 in merchandise from CVS Pharmacy on Doylestown Pike.

Authorities said Holly Leigh Stewart, 42, of the 200 block of Stockton Court, has had two prior retail theft convictions – one in July 2017 in Tullytown and a second in March 2021 in Bensalem – and this arrest makes it her third offense, a felony, police said.

On Sunday, at 9:16 p.m., police allege Stewart entered the CVS at 548 Doylestown Pike, selected a $25.99 orange Kerastase hair cream and a $24.49 brown Kerastase hair cream, concealed the items in a bag, and left the store without paying.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
