The Chester-Montgomery Region’s total campaign collected approximately 18,000 toys for children this season.
North Penn Water Authority issued a thank you to community and staff for donations to the Toys for Tots collection this past holiday season. For the 25th year, NPWA was a drop-off site for the Toys for Tots Program, sponsored by the U.S. Marine Corps.
Gifts overflowed from the designated boxes into the lobby, as customers, staff and communities, including the annual donation from Harrington Village of Souderton, generously contributed toys and money to NPWA’s collection, a press release stated.
“The response was so generous that for the first time in 25 years, NPWA staff had to make a second trip to deliver the abundance of items,” the release stated.

“On behalf of NPWA, I want to thank the community and our employees who donated to Toys for Tots this year,” said Anthony J. Bellitto Jr., executive director of North Penn Water Authority. “Our staff, customers, and community once again showed extremely generous support of this ongoing tradition which makes Christmas a little brighter for families in need in our region.”
