The Ambler chapter of the NAACP announced the re-election of Lansdale Borough business owner Shaykh Anwar AM. Muhammad as its branch president.
Shaykh Muhammad’s election “comes with the endorsement of his profound knowledge, extensive experiences, and expertise in community development, social change, and advocacy,” the branch said in a press release.
“His commitment to amplifying the voices of the marginalized and driving positive transformation is emblematic of his dedication to being a part of solutions rather than problems,” the release stated.
Possessing a bachelor of arts degree in communication with a specialization in public relations from Millersville University, Shaykh Muhammad stands as a notable figure in his field.
Prior to his current role as the founder and proprietor of The Black Reserve Bookstore in Lansdale, he demonstrated a commendable record of fifteen years dedicated to counseling, mentoring, and coaching adjudicated youth across Pennsylvania.
Shaykh Muhammad reassumes the role as president which he has held in the Ambler branch since August of 2023.
