A Hilltown Township man awaits sentencing after admitting last week in Montgomery County Common Pleas Court to the statutory sexual assault of a 13-year-old Lansdale girl.

Fredis B. David Santos, 28, of the 100 block of Reliance Place, pleaded guilty last week to two felony counts of sexual assault and felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse of a person under 16, before Common Pleas Judge Todd Eisenberg, according to court records.

Numerous felonies and misdemeanors were dismissed as part of the plea bargain: Two felony counts of sexual assault, four counts of statutory sexual assault, two counts of dissemination of explicit sexual material to a minor,  unlawful contact with a minor, unlawful contact or communication with a minor for sexual abuse, criminal use of a communications device, two counts of sexual abuse of children through photographing or depicting sex acts, corruption of minors, and 15 misdemeanor counts each of indecent assault on a victim under 16, according to court records.

On July 28, 2025, the victim went to Lansdale Police with her mother and another relative, to report the sexual assaults by Santos, according to the complaint. According to police, Santos friended the victim on Snapchat and sent nude photos and videos of himself masturbating, sometimes while watching pornography.

Santos, known to the victim as “Freddy,” asked the victim to send pictures, but she refused.

Then, Santos had five sexual encounters with the victim, police said. In two incidents in Lower Salford, Santos violated the victim in his car, with his son present in one of the alleged encounters.

Other assaults occurred near the victim’s bus stop in Lansdale, in which he raped her in his car.  All in all, the victim told police Santos sexually assaulted her about four times.

After each assault, Santos asked via Snapchat whether it hurt and if she “liked it.”

Santos was jailed on $99,000 cash bail, but bail has since been denied, according to court records. A sentencing date has not yet been set.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
