The North Penn School District (NPSD) Office of School and Community Engagement has received several awards from the Pennsylvania School Public Relations Association as part of its annual Excellence in Education Communication Contest.
North Penn earned two Awards of Excellence and one Award of Merit. PenSPRA’s Communications Contest gives professionals in school communications an opportunity to showcase their work throughout the school year. This year, eligible categories for submission included Annual Report, Branding/Image Package, Calendar, Excellence in Writing, Finance Publication, Handbook/Guide, Infographic, Magazine, Marketing Material, News Release, Newsletter Material, Photography, Podcast, Social Media, Special Purpose Publication, Video (Singular), Video (Series), and Website. Judging was conducted by a panel of independent professionals, who provide all contestants with feedback after the contest has concluded.
Erika Shaedle, Advertising and Marketing Specialist, earned Awards of Excellence for the North Penn School District annual report and the NPSD Educational Foundation annual report. Shaedle also received an Award of Merit for the NPSD Comprehensive Plan 2025-2028.
“We’re honored to be recognized for strong communication at North Penn,” said Christine Liberaski, Director of School and Community Engagement. “Through these publications we are able to highlight the outstanding efforts of students and staff across the district every day.”
