Supervisors voted unanimously last week to separate from Dan Fox, who was appointed manager in 2024
New Britain Township officials remain mum on the subject of the separation of the township manager last week in an unanimous vote, and the subsequent appointment of an interim manager.
Supervisors voted unanimously to separate from current Township Manager Dan Fox, who took on the role in April 2024 at its public session.
Then, another unanimous vote appointed Terry Fedorchak as interim township manager.
Fedorchak brings decades of municipal experience to the role. He previously served as township manager in Lower Makefield for nearly 25 years and has since become a frequent interim leader for municipalities across the region. In recent years, he has held interim roles in Upper Makefield, Tinicum, Upper Dublin, Cheltenham and Lower Frederick, and has also served as interim executive director of the Conshohocken Authority. He was most recently appointed interim township manager in Upper Makefield in April 2025, continuing a track record of stepping into leadership transitions for local governments.
No additional details on the potential separation with Fox were included on the agenda and there was neither discussion nor public comment on the matter.
Emails sent by CentralBucksNow to Fox, Board of Supervisors Chair MaryBeth McCabe, and Solicitor Scott C. Holbert at Flager & Associates were not returned.
Fox previously held the role of Township Manager of Easttown Township, and was also township manager of New Garden Township in Southern Chester County. He managed Yeadon in Delaware County and Caln Township in Chester County for eight years before going to New Garden Township.
Fox has a background in finance, with knowledge on bonds and other financial issues for municipalities and school districts, handling more the $2 billion in portfolios for 200 school districts and municipalities.
