Responding crews included VMSC Emergency Medical Services, Colmar Fire Company and Hatfield Fire Company.

According to initial reports, two vehicles — a black Hyundai SUV and a gray Honda SUV — sustained severe front-end damage in what appeared to be a head-on crash. Both vehicles came to rest in a “V” position in the roadway, suggesting a significant impact.

The intersection remained active with emergency responders as crews worked to treat the injured and secure the scene. Motorists were advised to avoid the area while the incident was under investigation.
