The accident shut down the Parkway Monday afternoon between County Line and Horsham roads
At least one person was transported after a two-vehicle crash on the Route 202 Parkway in Montgomery Township Monday afternoon that closed down the roadway in both directions between County Line and Horsham roads.
The crash involved a white school van and a heavy-duty pickup truck hauling a car carrier, which appears to have sent the latter across the opposing lane, off the roadway, across a walking trail and back onto the roadway before coming to a stop in the shoulder.
The truck’s front driver side wheel was missing from the vehicle after the crash.
It does not appear that the van was occupied with students at the time of the crash.
Montgomery Township Police are in charge of the investigation.
