Broad Street Grind and its sister operation, Liberty Hall Roasters, are pleased to announce that longtime team member Pamela Nalbach has completed the acquisition of both businesses as of May 2, 2025.
Nalbach, who joined the company in 2017, has led the shop's culinary and customer experience growth over the past eight years and will now guide its next chapter of development.
Founded in 2016 and opened in January 2017, Broad Street Grind has built its reputation on a commitment to local ingredients, handcrafted baked goods, and an inclusive menu featuring gluten-free and vegan options. Under Nalbach's direction, the cafe expanded into catering for area businesses, professional groups, and private events, earning praise in both its coffee and bespoke menu offerings.
In 2023, the company introduced Liberty Hall Roasters to meet rising demand for small batch, specialty coffees. As co-owners, Nalbach and Zachary Taylor plan to strengthen the roastery's relationships with ethical growers, refine its roasting profiles, and broaden distribution across the Northeast. Simultaneously, Nalbach will continue enhancing the cafe's in-house offerings and catering services to better serve the community she's called home for nearly a decade.
"I'm honored to carry forward the legacy of Broad Street Grind and Liberty Hall Roasters," Nalbach said. "My focus is on deepening our ties to local producers, elevating our catering program, and delivering the exceptional quality and hospitality our neighbors have come to expect."
