Families were asked to donate canned goods to Lansdale-based nonprofit Manna on Main Street, in a first-ever ‘Reading Soup-er Bowl’ donation drive.
In total, there were over 2,687 cans collected for Manna, of which Inglewood elementary School in Towamencin collected the most with 1,354, according to the district.
The district thanked the football team’s 12th Knight boosters and the NPSD Educational Foundation for helping support this program.
