2-car crash blocks Cannon Avenue traffic Thursday evening

A two-vehicle accident at North Cannon Avenue and West Second Street in Lansdale Borough sheared off the front bumper of a gray Nissan sedan, sustaining heavy front-end damage in its collision with an SUV Thursday evening. 

The accident occurred around 4:45 p.m. and affected traffic at the intersection during rush hour. The occupants of the Nissan are uninjured, per reports from the scene.

Two units from VMSC Emergency Medical Services were on scene, with medics treating the driver of the black Dodge Durango inside the vehicle. Lansdale Police is also on scene.

Avoid the area.
