3-car crash with injuries sends 3 patients to Abington Memorial Hospital Sunday afternoon

A 3-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon at Route 309 and Dekalb Pike in Montgomery Township sent three people to Abington Memorial Hospital via VMSC EMS, police said.

A gray 2005 Chrysler G/T, a 2023 black Mazda CX5 and a third vehicle collided at the intersection at 2:42 p.m., police said, blocking the roadway at Upper State Road in front of the Lukoil.

The accident is still under investigation, police said, and details of how the accident occurred would be available at a later time.

Three VMSC EMS ambulances responded and transported all the patients, police said.

The roadway was closed for about an hour, reopening at 3:39 p.m.

Montgomery Township Police assisted at the scene.
