2-car crash backs up 309 Northbound Saturday afternoon

A two-vehicle crash in Montgomeryville has reduced Route 309 Northbound to a single lane and backed up traffic Saturday afternoon.

One vehicle, a white Volkswagen SUV, crashed into a roadway sign, and a second silver SUV had heavy front-end damage.

The accident occurred shortly before 1:30 p.m. in front of Public Storage at 1075 Bethlehem Pike, near Hartman Road.

VMSC EMS is on scene, along with Montgomery Township Police.
