Senator Collett and Rep. Hanbidge to Host License Plate Restoration Event in Lower Gwynedd

(The following information was provided by the office of state Sen. Maria Collett)

Senator Maria Collett (D-12 Montgomery) and Representative Liz Hanbidge (D-61 Montgomery) will host a License Plate Restoration Event on Saturday, March 16 at the Lower Gwynedd Township Police Department from 11 a.m.-2 p.m.

During this free event, drivers with faded, peeling, or hard-to-read Pennsylvania license plates will have their plates assessed to ensure their compliance with state law.

A law enforcement official with the Lower Gwynedd Police Department will determine if a plate is eligible for replacement, and Collett and Hanbidge’s offices will help those with illegible plates complete the rest of the restoration process with the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation.

Drivers canregister for the event online atsenatorcollett.com/ licenseplate or by calling Senator Collett’s office at 215-368-1429. An event flyer is attached for your use.
