Users from popular social media apps Facebook, Instagram, and Threads are reporting widespread global outages, with no way to gain access to their accounts.
The issues surfaced just after 10 a.m., with users being automatically logged out of their accounts with no means to log back in. Password recovery does not result in an email being sent to the associated account, and efforts to login via Google are met with an error.
Thousands of users have taken to X, formerly known as Twitter, to report that they were logged out of their accounts and cannot log back in. DailyMail.com is reporting the outage is worldwide.
