To one lottery winner in the area, three is the magic number.

A $300,000-winning $30 scratch off ticket of the “$3,000,000 Fun Fortune” game was sold at the Ralph’s Corner Shopping Center Fine Wine & Good Spirits store in Hatfield Township earlier this month.

Pennsylvania Lottery Press Secretary Ewa Swope confirmed the scratch-off prize was claimed June 7.

“This PA Liquor Control Board location will receive a bonus of $500, and that bonus will go back to the General Fund,” Swope said. “Scratch-offs are distributed at random: The Pennsylvnia Lottery  and its retailers do not know where winning tickets will be sold. The Lottery learns where winning tickets are sold only after a prize has been claimed.”

A store employee confirmed it is the second jackpot winner at the 2333 Welsh Road location since February.

The name of the winner was not released.
