Emergency crews are responding to a house fire in Hatfield Township. A call into computer-aided dispatch was received at 2:57 p.m. on Wednesday. Early reports noted that it was smoky conditions at a townhome in Brookside Manor Apartments, just off of North Broad Street.

The call was later updated to a “building fire” at Juniper Path and Whitemarsh Lane in Hatfield. Crews said that the fire was placed under control by 3:15 p.m.

Reporting to the scene were two ambulances from VMSC Lansdale, The Fairmount Volunteer Fire Company, Lansdale Fire Services, North Penn Volunteer Fire Company, The Fire Department of Montgomery Township, Hatfield Volunteer Fire Company, Towamencin Volunteer Fire Company, and Station 12 Colmar Volunteer Fire Company.
