Whitpain Township Police have issued a traffic alert ahead of President Joe Biden’s visit to the Montgomery County Community College campus Friday afternoon.
Police said residents and motorists should expect short traffic delays Friday afternoon, especially as the President’s motorcade travels through the area. Delays are expected to occur in the mid and late afternoon periods.
"Residents should have access to their homes,” police said, in statement posted on Facebook. "We ask for your patience during POTUS’ visit to Whitpain Township.”
According to CBS3, President Biden is expected to deliver his first major speech of his reelection campaign. The speech was initially scheduled for Saturday, but was moved up to Friday due to expected bad weather over the weekend, the report states.
