Four people were hospitalized Sunday afternoon following a two-vehicle crash on Harleysville Pike in Franconia Township.
The crash occurred at 2:12 p.m. on Feb. 11 at the intersection with Cowpath Road. Police said the crash involved a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Corolla, with the crash being caused by the Camry failing to stop for a redlight and striking the Corolla.
A total of four people — three adults and one juvenile — were injured in the crash, with all four being transported via ambulance to Grand View Hospital for treatment. The extent of their injuries is unknown, police said.
Harleysville Pike was closed between Wile Ave and Telford Pike for nearly two hours due to the crash, with the scene being cleared at 4:01 p.m. Franconia Township Police were assisted at the scene by units from the Souderton and Telford police departments, as well as VMSC Emergency Medical Services and Souderton, Telford, and Harleysville fire companies.
Police said charges are pending against the driver of the Camry.
