An incident that was domestic in nature was reported Thursday evening at York & Susquehanna Park in Lansdale Borough, police said,

Lansdale Borough Police Chief Mike Trail told North Penn Now Thursday evening that officers made contact with the subject, and then he left with police.

The incident ended around 6:55 p.m.

Upper Gwynedd and Towamencin Township police departments responded to the scene. Susquehanna Avenue was closed at York Avenue temporarily Thursday for safety and precaution.

Neighbors reported seeing officers with weapons drawn, and Trail said the incident involved a shotgun.

The incident was resolved without an arrest, Trail said.

"There is no threat to the community," he said. "There are no criminal charges and the incident is closed."
