Kelly Jo Kulp, 58, of Lansdale, Pa., passed away surrounded by loved ones on Saturday, Jan. 28, 2023. She was the daughter of the late Ronald and Roseann (Slonaker) Kulp, of Telford.
She is survived by her son, Thomas John Kulp; her four sisters, Tamra Kulp Altomare (Craig), Rhonda Kulp, Trisha Kulp (Kurt), and Melissa Kulp Frick (Gary); her nieces and nephews, Craig Matthew (Becky), Michael, Makenna (Rich), Joel (Ruby), Delaney, Raelee, Bubba, Sawyer, and Hunter; great nephews Miles, Greyson, and Wade; her brother-in-law Craig, who was more like a brother and best friend; and her cousin John, who was more like a brother to her in every way.
Kelly worked for Waste Management of Gilbertsville, and was lovingly referred to as the “work mom” by all of her coworkers. She loved her job and took great pride in what she did.
She loved gardening and even had a garden at work that she enjoyed taking care of. She also loved spending time with her family, especially the kids, and was happiest when she was with them. Bugs Bunny and the color pink were her signature, and she loved to eat, though you never would have guessed it.
Kelly was loved by so many, and she loved hard in return. She will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be on Feb. 4 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Huff and Lakjer Funeral Home, located at 701 Derstine Avenue in Lansdale, with a memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. If anyone has a memory or anything they would like to share at that time, the family would love for them to do so.
She wanted us to party in her honor, and we will do our best to fulfill that wish.
In lieu of flowers, please give your trashman a tip in Kelly’s honor.
