Jennifer Eugenie Kincade, age 48, passed away peacefully Monday, Dec. 5, 2022. She was born on Oct. 12, 1974, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Genie Miniscalco.
Jennifer attended Saint Williams Parochial School, Benjamin Franklin Elementary, Supai Middle School, North Penn Junior High, and North Penn Senior High School. Later she attended Saint Joseph’s University and graduated from Temple University with a bachelor’s degree in education.
Jennifer began cheering in high school, and her passion for cheerleading helped jumpstart her career in the cheer world. In cheer, Jennifer held positions including but not limited to coaching, judging, motivational speaking, mentoring, advocating for better cheer safety guidelines, and creating choreographed routines. She did eventually achieve her dream of owning and running her own gym where she continued to positively influence the lives of future athletes.
Out of all the jobs she held, her favorite role in life was being a mother to her two children, Austin Lee, 19, and Emma Gene Uselton, 17. Jennifer and Daniel Uselton did a remarkable job raising their children.
She is survived by her parents, Genie and Rick Miniscalco, her siblings, Mary Kincade, Richie Kincade (Tracy), Teresa Young (Steve), Victoria Triglia (Nick), and her many nieces and nephews Charlee, Ivy, Cameron, Lilly, and Mackenzie.
Jennifer is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Thomas and Eugenia Gilson. She spent much of her childhood with them along with her uncles and nine cousins.
She was an avid reader, and she was a world traveler. In her travels, her magnetic personality allowed her to form strong relationships with friends who she considered family. Jennifer never met a stranger. Her favorite place to visit in her travels was Wildwood, New Jersey, where she grew up spending her summers with her family and friends. Her light shines so bright and will be missed by many. She spent the later years of her life living in Colorado with her partner, Brad Walsh.
Visitation will be held at Scanlin-McDonald Funeral Home, 175 East Butler Avenue, Chalfont PA. Please join us in celebrating Jennifer’s life Saturday Dec. 17. We will be welcoming visitors between 10 a.m. and noon. The memorial service will begin at noon.
