A wedding is always a night to remember, but it certainly will be for the guests at one in Levittown and the numerous police officers who responded.
Around 10:15 p.m. Saturday, Bristol Township police were advised of a fight at a wedding reception at Falls Manor Catering and Special Events (previously King’s Caterers) in the 4000 block of New Falls Road in Levittown.
Arriving Bristol Township cops found a “large, disorderly crowd” at the venue, police said.
Due to the crowd, additional cars from surrounding departments, including Falls and Middletown townships, rushed to the wedding hall, according to Lt. Sean Cosgrove.
LevittownNow.com readers reported police vehicles filling the entrances to the Falls Manor Catering and Special Events and parked along New Falls Road. More than a dozen patrol officers were at the scene.
Police said one person was arrested at the scene and an arrest warrant has been issued for a second. Court papers were not immediately available for the incident.
The Bucks County Rescue Squad was at the scene, but there were no reports of serious injuries.
Cosgrove said the investigation into the incident remains ongoing as of Monday morning.
