Looking for information on restaurants, service stations, medical facilities and other businesses still open in Lansdale Borough?
Have a business still operating in the borough and want to let people know?
To help connect life-sustaining businesses to folks who might need their products and services, Lansdale Borough has put together a map system where businesses can list and locate themselves.
The borough’s Open for Business map project is, well… open for business.
A cooperative project of Lansdale Borough and its GIS mapping department, the Economic Development Committee (EDC) and Discover Lansdale, the map allows businesses to include hours, contact information and any details (curbside pickup, delivery, telemedicine, etc.). There are three simple rules:
Businesses can add themselves by
filling out a short online form at
https://arcg.is/1nbnv9 . (Those not meeting the criteria are subject to removal.)
Residents can
view the map and search for businesses at

"This a crucial time to support our local businesses but also respect and follow orders from our Governor to maintain health and safety standards,” says Carrie Hawkins Charlton, who chairs the EDC.
With Tuesday declared the Great American Takeout Day by a national restaurant coalition, she says, "I’d love for people to order from our local businesses, but I understand residents need to make their own decisions as to what’s best for themselves and their families.”
She adds, "Purchasing a gift card online or over the phone is another way to help support our Lansdale businesses without fear of contact. Please join me and shop local here in Lansdale Borough. Use the hashtag #lansdalelocal and showcase which Lansdale business you’ve supported.”
”It’s hard enough for small businesses to thrive and become successful in the best of economies,” says Borough Manager John Ernst. "Now, in this most challenging time of uncertainty, we felt that we could try and help out in some small way. This interactive map provides an opportunity for life-essential businesses to get themselves located on a map, and customers who use the map to learn details about the business.”
