An unidentified male suspect has been taken into custody after shooting at uniformed officers earlier this afternoon.
According to Upper Gwynedd Township Police Chief David Duffy, Police began taking fire from a male with a shotgun behind a home on Cathys Lane earlier this afternoon. No injuries were reported.
The suspect is in custody, and both a shotgun and a rifle have been recovered from the scene. Duffy said the crime scene search and investigation are ongoing.
