Pizza Hut in Lansdale Has Closed

Pizza Hut in Lansdale has permanently closed its doors.

NorthPennNow.com readers reported this week that the Pizza Hut location on West Main Street has closed. The Facebook page for the delivery/take-out only location shows the store as permanently closed, though corporate posts have continued on the page since its closure. The corporate website for Pizza Hut has also removed it from their list of locations.

Pizza Hut’s press office was not immediately available for comment. Their franchise in North Wales continues to operate as of this posting.

According to our friends at LevittownNow.com, multiple other locations in Bucks County have also closed in recent weeks.

In August, Pizza Hut owner Yum! Brands announced they planned to close about 500 of their 7,500 locations as they shifted to a more delivery and fast-casual dining, according to MarketWatch.

(Editor's note: LevittownNow.com contributed to this report.)
