Boardroom Spirits has announced the results of last weekend’s fundraiser for the Robert Irvine Foundation, and organizers are more than pleased with the event’s performance.
According to Zsuzsa Palotas, who owns Boardroom with her husband, Marat Mamedov, the organization set $5,000 as the initial goal, with $7,000 as a stretch goal. Instead, after tallying all of the totals, more than $10,000 was raised for the foundation.
“Excellent job, and thank you to everyone who contributed,” said Palotas.
Nearly $7,000 came from ticket sales, with the remainder composed of 20-percent of food sales from Fry’s Catering, raffle sales, 20-percent of Boardroom’s sales and a 20-percent match from Boardroom. Total amount raised was $10,216.96.
The Robert Irvine Foundation is a not-for-profit organization that honors the men and women defending our country. Their mission is to support individuals and organizations committed to enriching the lives of our military personnel (active, retired and veterans) and their families.
Prior to the Spirit of Lansdale Day Fundraiser, Boardroom held a fundraiser for the Lansdale Freight House Restoration Project, which netted more than $1,500 in donations and matching contributions.
