With fall in our midst, flu season is on the horizon. Health officials recommend that those who are 6 years old or older should get flu shots. That’s why Montgomery County is hosting several free walk-in flu shot clinics through October and the beginning of November.
Those who are on Medicare or have health insurance should bring their insurance cards, but there will not be any copays. The schedule of clinics is below. For more information, visit

- Norristown Public Library: Tuesday, Oct. 2, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Sunnybrook Ballroom, Pottstown: Thursday, Oct. 11, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Abington Junior High School: Saturday, Oct. 13, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Upper Merion Township Building: Tuesday, October 16, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
- Montgomery County Community College, Blue Bell: Saturday, Oct. 27, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
- Trinity Lutheran Church, Lansdale: Tuesday, Nov. 6, 3:30 to 6:30 p.m.
