Montgomery Township Police Department is hosting its first “Crafting with a Cop” event later this month.
The event is scheduled to take place on Friday, Feb. 22 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. at the Montgomery Township Community and Recreation Center. It is free and no registration is required to attend.
Attendees will have an opportunity to make police-themed crafts, such as police cars and hats, with township police officers. The crafts are geared towards kids between the ages of 3 and 12. In addition to the crafts, there will also be refreshments for the kids and their parents.
“The township and police department are always looking for ways to build relationships with those that we serve,” said Montgomery Township Police Chief Scott Bending. “We have a great group of police officers in Montgomery Township, and it is our pleasure to share these events with our residents.”
