The 2018 Discover Lansdale Chili Cook-off was held during the Fall Harvest First Friday festivities, with one local hot-spot taking home the trophy.
Stove and Tap, located at the intersection of Main and Wood streets in Lansdale, won the contest in what organizers deemed a landslide victory. They were selection “#1” in the blind taste-test competition. Coming in second place was Christine Garner—#6—a local resident and amateur chef, and third place went to Smoke Daddy’s Sean Ciccarone—#8—though his entry was a personal entry and not the recipe from Smoke Daddy’s.
In total, 14 professional and amateur chefs entered the competition.
