Crews respond to a fire at Koffee Korner.
Emergency crews are currently responding to an incident along the 200-block of North Broad Street in Lansdale, where a fire has reportedly caused damage to Koffee Korner and the apartments above the business.
According to North Penn Now contributor Bruce Schwartz, who is on scene, the fire occurred in the kitchen, causing damage to the restaurant. Some of the residents who live above the restaurant will be displaced, but no injuries were reported.
North Broad Street is currently closed from Main Street to Fourth Street. Responding crews include units from Fairmount Fire, North Penn Fire, and Colmar Fire companies, as well as Lansdale Borough Police Department, Montgomery Township Fire Police and the Volunteer Medical Services Corps.
The cause of the fire has not been determined at this time. Check back frequently as we continue to update this breaking news story.
