The Upper Gwynedd Township Board of Commissioners announced Monday night that Township Manager Mike Lapinksi has left his position and the search for the next township manager is underway.
"He is no longer here. That's all I can tell you,” said Ken Kroberger, in an article from the Reporter. “I can tell you also that there's no separation agreement or anything else like that.”
Lapinksi was hired as the full-time township manager in June of this year after filling in part-time after former manager Len Perrone retired. He also worked as the assistant township manager in May 2013.
Alex Kaker, who was named assistant township manager in June, has stepped up to fill Lapinski’s position while the search for a new township manager is in the works. Former Lower Gwynedd manager Larry Comunale has stepped in to assist Kaker on a part-time basis.
