Upper Gwynedd Township Police Department has a new officer on duty, following the swearing-in of Evan Meoli during Monday night’s Upper Gwynedd Township Board of Supervisors meeting.
Meoli, also a resident of Upper Gwynedd Township, has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, and most recently completed an internship with the Chester County District Attorney’s Office. He graduated from the Montgomery County Police Academy on June 27, 2018, continuing a familial legacy of public service, with his father, Larry, being a retired officer from the Tredyffrin Township Police Department, and his brother, Eric, currently serving as an officer with the same department.
Officer Meoli was assigned badge number 59, and was sworn-in by Magesterial District Justice Suzan G. Leonard.
