A Green Lane Borough woman is facing felony and misdemeanor charges after police said she was found inside a stolen vehicle and in possession of methamphetamine at a Hatfield Township Wawa earlier this year.

According to a criminal complaint filed earlier this month by Montgomery Township Police, officers were alerted around 1:37 a.m. Feb. 16, 2026, by an automated license plate reader to a stolen vehicle traveling south on Bethlehem Pike.

Police said the vehicle — a white Dodge Caravan reported stolen out of Perkasie on Feb. 12 — was located shortly afterward in the parking lot of the Wawa at 119 Bethlehem Pike, with a single occupant inside.

Officers identified the driver as Lauren Fullford Herman, 45, of the 100 block of Walnut Street.

A records check revealed she had two active warrants — one for failure to appear on a shoplifting case in Manheim Township and another for a probation violation in Montgomery County related to amphetamine possession, according to the affidavit.

Herman was taken into custody just after 2 a.m., police said.

During a subsequent search of the vehicle, officers reported finding a clear plastic baggie containing suspected methamphetamine inside a jacket on the passenger seat next to Herman’s purse. The substance later tested positive for methamphetamine, according to authorities.

Herman is charged with felony receiving stolen property, along with misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, according to court records.

She was charged via summons. A preliminary hearing is set for April 21 before Magisterial District Judge Andrea Duffy.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
