Penn State Extension will host a webinar focusing on on-farm cut flower research, “Cut Flower On-Farm Research Update,” occurring from 6-7 p.m., March 30.

This event is designed for cut flower farmers, specialty crop producers, extension educators and agricultural researchers.

The event will feature horticulture extension educators Margaret Pickoff and Glen Bupp, joined by Jennie Love of Love 'N Fresh Flowers in Philadelphia, as they share insights from their Northeast SARE–funded project, “Assessing the Use of Farm-Made Foliar Biostimulants and Microbial Inoculants for Cut Flower Production.”

Participants will learn how the project was developed, how to collect meaningful data on a working farm and how growers can partner with Extension to advance research-based strategies for cut flower production.

Penn State Extension offers this event at no charge. Organizers note that space is limited, so preregistration is required. The registration deadline is March 30. Registration is required to receive the link to access the webinar.

A link to the recorded webinar will be emailed to registrants within 10 business days after the live event. The recording will be accessible for six months from the event date.

More information is available on the Penn State Extension website.
