A New Britain Township had multiple felony and misdemeanor charges held for Bucks County Common Pleas Court at a preliminary hearing Tuesday, accused by HIlltown Police of kicking a police sergeant during a search and threatening officers during an early-morning confrontation last month.

Justin Noah Ottey, 30, of the 200 block of Green Valley Way, was charged by authorities with two counts of aggravated assault on a law enforcement officer, along with misdemeanor counts of terroristic threats, resisting arrest, evading arrest on foot, defiant trespass and disorderly conduct, according to court records.

According to an affidavit, police were called around 12:30 a.m. Feb .27, 2026 to the 800 block of Callowhill Road, after a resident reported Ottey showed up at their door despite not living there and not having contact with them for several months. The resident asked officers to have Ottey leave the property, telling police he had an alleged violent temper.

Police made contact with Ottey at the front door, according to the affidavit, where he became “confrontational and argumentative” and was advised that he was not permitted on the property.

As officers escorted him toward the road and informed him he had trespassed, Ottey allegedly replied, “I can do whatever the f-ck I want.”

Police alleged Ottey then returned toward a sergeant, closed the distance and pointed in his face. When told he could not return to the property, Ottey became enraged and told the sergeant to “shut the f--k up,” before swinging his right hand in an attempt to hit him, according to the affidavit.

A brief foot pursuit followed after Ottey fled, during which he fell in the snow, according to police. Officers moved in to handcuff him, but Ottey allegedly resisted by tensing his arms underneath his body

While being searched, Ottey allegedly kicked the police sergeant in the legs and had to be physically held due to continued resistance.

Once secured in a patrol vehicle, he allegedly made “numerous threats of harm” toward the three officers on scene.

Ottey remains jailed on 10% of $50,000 cash bail. He is represented by a public defender. Formal arraignment is set for April 24.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
