Home At Last Dog Rescue is excited to introduce Spanky, also known as Bubba, a one-year-old lab/hound mix, as their featured rescue of the week.
Spanky is about 55 pounds of playful, goofy energy who loves romping around with other dogs just as much as he enjoys snuggling up with his person afterward. He had a tough start to life, spending much of his early time outdoors, but now he’s thriving—enjoying walks, exploring trails, and, of course, chewing on his favorite sticks.
He’s house- and crate-trained and does best with a secure fenced yard, as he can be a bit of an adventurer. Spanky would love a dog companion to play with and may be able to live with dog-savvy cats with proper supervision. With his fun personality and affectionate side, he’s ready to show his future family just how great of a dog he is.
