A borough-wide power outage is impacting all of Hatfield Borough after a fallen tree damaged utility lines, officials said Wednesday.

According to a notice from the borough, the outage is tied to a disruption in the PPL electric feed that supplies power to the area. Crews have been notified and are working to make repairs.

Officials emphasized that the outage is not within borough control, as the issue stems from PPL infrastructure. Residents are encouraged to check the PPL outage map or contact the utility directly for updates.

Power is currently estimated to be restored by about 2 a.m.

The Hatfield Borough Council meeting was canceled Wednesday night due to the outage.
