The clinics will provide free prostate and mammogram screenings to uninsured and insured community members

The Jaisohn Center is partnering with the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jefferson to host three free cancer screening clinics this April through the Mobile Cancer Screening Unit.
The clinics will provide free prostate and mammogram screenings to uninsured and insured community members in Montgomery County as part of the Jaisohn Center’s ongoing commitment to expanding access to preventive health care and promoting early detection. Cancer remains one of the leading causes of death in Pennsylvania, and early detection through routine screenings significantly improves survival rates.
The Jaisohn Center extends its sincere appreciation to the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center for providing the Mobile Cancer Screening Unit and clinical services, and to the Montgomery County Office of Public Health for its continued support of the Community Health Workers Program, which plays a critical role in outreach, education, and care coordination.
“Early detection saves lives, and access should never be a barrier,” said George Choe, President of the Jaisohn Center. “By hosting these screenings at the newly opened Jaisohn Community Wellness Plaza in North Wales and in partnership with trusted community organizations such as Hatfield Jame Masjid, we are making preventive care more accessible for Montgomery County families.”
