A Hatfield Township man has been charged in connection with a series of overnight burglaries that targeted several local beer stores and other businesses earlier this year.

Ian Andrew Boland-Bintner, 27, of the 1200 block of Cabin Road, faces multiple felony charges including six counts of burglary, six counts of criminal trespass, five counts each of theft and receiving stolen property, six counts of criminal mischief and six misdemeanor counts of possession of instruments of crime, per court records.

Authorities allege Boland-Bintner broke into several businesses between late December 2025 and early March 2026, prying open doors and cash registers to steal cash and other items.

According to the affidavit, officers first responded around 12:14 a.m. Jan. 1, 2026 to Beer Etc., 1540 Cowpath Road, where the front doors had been pried open and one of three cash registers was forced open. About $373.91 in assorted bills and coins was reported stolen, police said.

Security footage allegedly showed a suspect wearing a light-colored hooded jacket and dark pants using a pry tool to enter the business and open the register before leaving the store on foot.

Investigators later allegedly linked Boland-Bintner to several additional break-ins, including a Feb. 26, 2026 burglary at the same Beer Etc. location, a March 2 burglary at Mavis Discount Tire on Cowpath Road, and Wednesday burglaries at Hatfield Beverage on North Broad Street, Midas on Bethlehem Pike and Colmar Beer Store.

Police allege the suspect used a pry bar to force entry and remove cash from registers in multiple incidents.

Detectives said surveillance footage from nearby businesses showed a dark-colored Chevrolet Blazer with distinctive white trim traveling through the area during the burglaries. Stationary license plate readers later captured the vehicle traveling through Hatfield and Lansdale. Registration records showed the vehicle belonged to Boland-Bintner, police said.

During a Thursday traffic stop, Hatfield police identified Boland-Bintner as the driver of the vehicle. Investigators later executed search warrants at his residence and on the SUV, recovering items they allege were linked to the burglaries, including gloves, clothing seen in surveillance footage and tools believed to have been used to pry open doors and registers.

Authorities estimated more than $2,000 in cash was stolen across the series of burglaries, while property damage at the businesses totaled several thousand dollars more, per the complaint.

Boland-Bintner is jailed on $75,077 cash bail, which includes a probation detainer. A preliminary hearing is set for April 1 before Magisterial District Judge Ed Levine.

All suspects and defendants are innocent until proven guilty. This story was compiled using public court records.
